What These Experiences Have Taught Me
Although these roles are very different, they have taught me many of the same lessons.
Communication matters. Reliability matters. Small interactions can significantly influence how supported someone feels.
Whether helping someone navigate a difficult moment, interacting with patients and families, organizing a community program, or working as part of a team, I have learned the importance of listening carefully, remaining composed, adapting to different situations, and treating people with respect.
